It is up to the DJ! Sometimes the crowd is really feeling a song, so playing as much of the song or even extending or remixing the song is a great way to keep the dancefloor going. DJ Z-Trip says to “let the music do the heavy lifting” describing a time he witnessed a DJ command a crowd with zero mixing and perfect track selection.
